[Jiemei Technology: Plans to invest 2.684 billion yuan in the construction of optical grade BOPET film and high-end release film projects] On October 26, Jiemei Technology (002859.SZ) announced that the company plans to invest 2.684 billion yuan in the construction of "an optical-grade BOPET film with an annual output of 40,000 tons and a high-end release film project with an annual output of 768 million square meters." The construction period will be 3 years, and it is expected to be gradually put into production in mid-2028. The project aims to improve the industrial chain layout, enhance core raw material security capabilities, and seize opportunities for domestic substitution of MLCC release films.
