[Beijing: Aiming to fully build a child-friendly city by 2030] On September 1, the Beijing Municipal People’s Government recently issued the “Beijing Women and Children Development Plan during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period.” It is proposed that by 2030, the system and mechanism to promote gender equality, women's comprehensive development and children's priority development will be more complete, fertility support and family support policies and measures will continue to be improved, a child-friendly city will be fully built, and the development level of women and children will remain at the leading level in the country and reach the international advanced level. By 2035, the development level of women and children will be highly consistent with Beijing taking the lead in basically realizing socialist modernization, and women and children's sense of gain, happiness, and security will be fully satisfied.
