[Iranian President: Iran’s goal is to develop multilateralism] On October 26th, Iranian President Pezeshchiyan said before leaving for Russia that he would discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin how to strengthen bilateral relations and issues of common interest to both parties. Pezeshchiyan emphasized that Iran’s goal is to develop multilateralism, rather than unilateralism and showing off national force. In trade, countries should conduct transactions in their own currencies or a mutually agreed upon currency to avoid the effectiveness of U.S. unilateral sanctions. He said that the free flow of energy must be guaranteed to achieve global energy sharing, and understanding and strategic dialogue are the cornerstones of global energy management. (CCTV News)
