[The EU allocates 4.7 billion euros to compensate countries that supply military aid to Ukraine] On October 27, the European Council issued a statement stating that it has allocated 4.7 billion euros to compensate countries that supply weapons to Ukraine. The communique also pointed out that Brussels will allocate an additional 230 million euros to fund the EU Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine. The EU Council concluded that after taking into account the day's decision, the EU's total support to Ukraine within the framework of the European Peace Fund will reach 10.8 billion euros.
