[China Automotive Society's "White Paper on New Energy Vehicle Energy Efficiency" released] On October 27, the China Society of Automotive Engineers released the "White Paper on New Energy Vehicle Energy Efficiency" today. The "White Paper" points out that in the vehicle structure and process layer, the battery and power system layer, and the thermal and energy management layer, new energy vehicles respectively present nine major technological trends: lightweighting moves towards multi-material synergy, system-level structural optimization and process improvement, high voltage and wide bandgap power devices promote efficient power conversion, and thermal management moves towards vehicle integration and comprehensive management. The "White Paper" recommends that policies include improving the management system, accelerating energy efficiency hierarchical management, and promoting industry application demonstrations; strengthening label leadership, improving the energy efficiency labeling system, and promoting the application of energy efficiency labels in sales, display and other scenarios; improving policy incentives, exploring and promoting energy efficiency levels and green product certification, and vehicle trade-in and other policies for coordinated advancement.
