[Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Expands Comprehensive Fund Platform and Launches Platform and Agent Services] On October 28, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced that its comprehensive fund platform has launched platform and agent services, marking the latest milestone in Hong Kong’s efforts to build a more efficient, connected and scalable fund distribution ecosystem. The comprehensive fund platform will launch a fund database in December 2024 and an order delivery service in July 2025. This time, the addition of general distribution, agent and administrative services further extends the platform functions to the entire fund distribution process. Together, these services build a comprehensive business-to-business market infrastructure that connects fund managers, transfer agents, distributors and other market participants through unified workflow and information exchange. Since the launch of the order routing service, the number of participants in the integrated fund platform has increased from the first batch of 33 to more than 60 distributors, fund companies and transfer agents.
