[Former Yunshang Guizhou Big Data (Group) Co., Ltd. Party Secretary and Chairman Xu Hao’s first-instance verdict in the bribery case] On October 28, the Intermediate People’s Court of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province publicly announced the first-instance verdict of the former Yunshang Guizhou Big Data (Group) Co., Ltd. ) Co., Ltd. Party Committee Secretary and Chairman Xu Hao took bribes. The defendant Xu Hao was sentenced to 11 years and six months in prison for taking bribes and fined RMB 1.2 million. Xu Hao’s bribery gains and interests were recovered in accordance with the law and turned over to the state treasury. After trial, it was found that: from 2009 to 2025, the defendant Xu Hao used his position as chairman of Guiyang Industrial Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., deputy mayor of Guiyang, member of the Standing Committee of Guiyang Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy mayor, and owner of Yunshang Guizhou Big Data (Group). Co., Ltd.'s party committee secretary, chairman and other positions to provide assistance to others in matters such as project undertaking, land auction, and illegal construction issues, and illegally received property equivalent to more than 29.06 million yuan, part of which was not actually obtained. The Intermediate People's Court of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture held that defendant Xu Hao's behavior constituted the crime of accepting bribes, and the amount of bribes he accepted was particularly huge and should be punished in accordance with the law. In view of the attempted bribery crime of Xu Hao, he truthfully confessed the crime after arriving at the case, took the initiative to explain most of the facts of the bribery crime that the case handling agency had not yet grasped, confessed and repented, actively returned the stolen goods, and all the bribery proceeds were recovered. There are statutory and discretionary lenient punishment circumstances, and he can be given a lighter punishment in accordance with the law. The court then made the above judgment.
