[The newly-built Tianfu Railway will be put into operation today with a total length of about 82 kilometers] On October 31, the reporter learned from China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that today (31st), the newly-built Tianfu-Pujiang Railway will be put into operation. The Tianpu Railway starts from Tianfu Station and passes through Tianfu New District, Shuangliu District, Xinjin District of Chengdu City, Pengshan District of Meishan City, Qionglai City of Chengdu City, and Pujiang County before connecting to the existing Chengdu-Ya Railway Chaoyang Lake Station. It is a two-line passenger and freight railway with a total length of approximately 82 kilometers and a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour. (CCTV News)
