[Polish Constitutional Court Crisis Continues, President Issues Statement and Convenes Emergency Consultations] On October 31, Polish President Navrotsky issued a statement on the events that occurred in the Constitutional Court on October 31, local time, accusing relevant actions of undermining Poland’s constitutional order and demanding that relevant law enforcement forces immediately leave the Constitutional Court. Navrotsky also announced that representatives of various political forces in the parliament would be convened to hold emergency consultations on the same day to promote stability of the situation and restore constitutional order.
