[A 6.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in southern Panama] On November 1, according to a preliminary report released by the Institute of Earth Sciences of the University of Panama, at 10:50 local time on October 31, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in southern Panama. The epicenter was about 18 kilometers east of Tonosi, Los Santos Province, Panama, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
