[For the first time, 158 primary diseases have been clarified at the national level] On September 2, the National Medical Insurance Administration held a press conference to release the 3.0 version of the disease-based payment grouping plan and technical specifications. The person in charge of the National Health Commission said that considering the actual service capabilities of current grassroots institutions and focusing on the actual needs of the people in the future, primary disease categories were clarified for the first time at the national level. The first batch of primary disease categories included 31 DRG primary disease categories and 127 DIP primary disease categories. All localities should refer to the primary disease categories announced by the state, and combine the layout of local medical resources, primary service capabilities and residents' medical service needs to reasonably determine the local primary disease categories. After the types of diseases at the grassroots level are determined, the medical insurance will coordinate the payment of the same disease at different levels of medical institutions in the region, further strengthen the preferential support of medical insurance to the grassroots level, guide patients to give priority to medical treatment at the grassroots level, and better promote the construction of a hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system.
