Ling Ji said that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Greece. Over the past 20 years, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Greece economic and trade relations have continued to develop healthily. Both sides have achieved fruitful results in trade and investment, port shipping, green energy, tourism, agriculture and other fields. China is willing to further expand cooperation with Greece in areas such as service trade, digital economy, and maritime economy to create new growth points for China-Greece economic and trade cooperation. Since the beginning of this year, China and the EU have held two regular meetings of the trade and investment consultation mechanism and achieved consensus on a series of outcomes. China is willing to continue to strengthen dialogue and cooperation with the EU on the basis of reciprocity, balance and compliance with WTO rules, and jointly safeguard the stable development of China-EU economic and trade relations. Theoharis said that Greece and China respect each other and both have a long history and culture. Greece attaches great importance to its economic and trade relations with China, is willing to deepen connectivity cooperation with China, expand the export of high-quality agricultural and food products to China, and welcomes Chinese companies to invest and start business in Greece. Greece appreciates the positive results achieved by the EU-China trade and investment consultation mechanism, supports EU-China in continuing to promote dialogue and consultation, properly handle differences, and is willing to play an active role in this regard.
