[Annual output of 10,000 tons of lithium carbonate project lands in Hunan] On November 3, Hengyang Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau announced the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment of Hunan Haicheng Technology Co., Ltd.'s annual output of 10,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate production project. The acceptance date is October 19, 2026. The project is located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, with a total investment of 300 million yuan. Wancheng Technology currently has two rotary kiln high-activity lime production lines and one calcium hydroxide production line. In order to promote the lithium carbonate project, the company plans to eliminate the existing active lime production line and use its site and rotary kiln facilities to rebuild a 10,000-ton/year battery-grade lithium carbonate production line. The original limestone rotary kiln will be converted to the roasting link of the lithium carbonate production line, and a 20t/h gas boiler will be added for heating and drying.
