[The Greenland Self-Government Parliament approves the security agreement reached with the United States] On November 4, the Greenland Self-Government Parliament formally approved the security agreement signed by the United States, Denmark and Greenland in New York on September 22. According to the arrangement, the agreement will then need to be approved by the Danish Parliament. The Danish Parliament will start the review process on November 12 and is expected to complete it on November 19. The agreement will come into effect once both the Greenland and Danish parliaments complete the ratification process and formally notify the United States. (CCTV News)
