[British agency: Only one of the three oil tankers carrying Russian diesel destined for the United States still appears to be heading to the United States] On November 4, the UK-based Wynward Maritime Analysis Company issued a report on the 3rd that of the three oil tankers previously loaded with Russian diesel destined for the United States, only one still appears to be heading to the east coast of the United States. The updated destination information of the other two in the ship's automatic identification system shows that their original plans to go to the United States may have been adjusted. The report said that the Russian-flagged "TALISMAN" had changed its self-declared destination in the system from "Atlantic Coast, awaiting instructions" to "awaiting instructions" and no longer specified the specific destination area. The "LERUO" flying the flag of Sierra Leone changed its destination from "Atlantic Coast, awaiting instructions" to "Brazil, awaiting instructions", indicating that its sailing plan may be diverted to Brazil. The report pointed out that the two oil tankers were sanctioned by one or more parties from the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States, causing compliance problems for buyers, port management authorities and maritime service providers. This may be the reason why the two ships adjusted their plans to go to the United States. (CCTV News)
