[Token expenditure index hits a record low and has halved since its peak] On September 2, data showed that the LLM Token expenditure index compiled by the intelligence company Silicon Data, which measures the average price paid per million LLM Tokens in the entire market, fell to 97 cents on Monday. It was the lowest reading since the index was launched late last year and has fallen by more than half from its highs set earlier this summer.
