[The market value of QFII’s positions in the third quarter increased by nearly 80% year-on-year, favoring scientific and technological fields such as AI hardware] On November 5, as the disclosure of the third quarterly report officially came to an end, the position map of foreign-funded institutions emerged. Data show that as of September 30, a total of 49 qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) appeared in the top ten shareholder lists disclosed by more than 1,500 listed companies. The value of QFII's stock holdings exceeded 270 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 79.87%. Among them, the market value of foreign holdings such as Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, UBS, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase ranks tops. This reflects foreign capital’s continued recognition of the value of China’s asset allocation in the context of China’s high-level opening up of its capital market. Foreign capital prefers scientific and technological fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) hardware. From the perspective of holding sectors, the electronics and banking industries are still the heavy holdings of foreign-funded institutions. As of the end of the third quarter, the market value of holdings in these two industries accounted for more than 60%. Among them, the market value of the electronics industry's positions was 83.683 billion yuan, accounting for 30.91%; the market value of the banking industry's positions was 81.101 billion yuan, accounting for 29.96%.
