[The yields on major global government bonds continue to rise] On September 2, the yields on major global government bonds continued to rise, with the UK 10-year government bond yield rising 7 basis points to 5.29%, the highest level since August 2007. Germany's 10-year government bond yield rose 5 basis points to 3.39%. Italy's two-year government bond yield once hit its highest level since 2024 and is now at 3.22%. The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond rose to 4.816%, continuing to reach its highest level since late 2023.
