[Toyota establishes robotics department] On November 5th, Toyota announced a new round of organizational structure adjustments. The most watched action was the establishment of a dedicated robotics department and positioned the business as a "key pillar of future business." This is the first time that Toyota has separated its robotics business from its production and manufacturing system and upgraded it to a core strategic business segment alongside its electrification and software businesses.
