[National Bank of Canada will acquire education savings service company Embark for C$226 million] November 6th, National Bank of Canada announced on November 6 that it has reached a final acquisition agreement with Embark Student Corp., a Canadian digital education savings and planning company. The transaction price is expected to be C$226 million, and may be adjusted based on working capital conditions. Embark currently manages Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs) for approximately 436,000 beneficiaries with more than C$6 billion in assets under management.
