[Daily gas production capacity increased, annual natural gas production of Xinjiang Kela Meili Gas Field exceeded 1 billion cubic meters] November 7th, the natural gas production of Kela Meili Gas Field located in Xinjiang Junggar Basin exceeded 1 billion cubic meters today, providing strong support for domestic and industrial gas use in the northern region this winter. The Kela Meili Gas Field is located in the hinterland of the Junggar Basin. It is the first medium-deep large-scale complex volcanic rock condensate gas field developed in western China, with proven natural gas reserves exceeding 100 billion cubic meters. Since the beginning of this year, the gas field has focused on controlling decline and improving recovery. Seven new production wells have been put into production quickly, greatly increasing the daily gas production capacity. The daily gas production has exceeded 4 million cubic meters, setting a record for annual industrial gas production since the establishment of the plant.
