[Iraq’s Foreign Minister warns that the Middle East may fall into another war] On November 7, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hussein said in an interview with the media on the 7th local time that the current situation indicates that war may break out again in the Middle East. Hussein pointed out that Iraq has lost approximately US$60 billion due to the stagnation of oil exports in the Strait of Hormuz. After reaching an agreement with the United States and Iran, Iraq resumed oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz. He said the United States has formally requested the closure of all Iraq-Iran border crossings except two. Iraq has also notified Iran that it accepts friendly relations with the development alliance but rejects its interference in Iraqi affairs.
