[Initiative of the China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association: Maintaining the Stable and Orderly Development of the Industry] On November 8, the China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association issued the "Initiative on Maintaining the Stable and Orderly Development of the Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry" stating that at present, domestic phosphate and compound fertilizer production is generally stable and the supply order is in good order, effectively ensuring the basic demand for domestic winter storage and agricultural spring plowing fertilizers in the coming year, and laying a solid material foundation for stable agricultural production. At the same time, the development of the industry still faces outstanding challenges. The tight supply of core raw material resources such as sulfur has not been effectively improved, and the pressure of cost fluctuations is large, which has brought many uncertainties to the stable production of the industry and the smooth operation of the market. In order to resolutely safeguard the bottom line of agricultural supply, standardize the business order of the industry, put an end to negative behaviors such as below-cost price involution and vicious competition, maintain the dynamic balance of supply and demand in the industry, and promote high-quality and sustainable development of the industry, the China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association now issues the following initiatives to all production and operating enterprises in the industry: 1. Scientifically coordinate production and maintain reasonable operating levels; 2. Standardize business behavior and resolutely put an end to vicious competition; 3. Collaborate to ensure supply and jointly build a healthy market ecology.
