[The world's first international standard for the training of notified review personnel was released] On November 7, the 2026 "Technical Trade Measures - Guidelines for Improving Reviewer Capacity" (ODCCN/PAS 5) international standard developed by China was officially released at the 2026 Zhijiang Business Forum. This is the world's first international standard focusing on the training of reviewers for the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT). It was jointly developed by the National Standards and Technical Review Center in conjunction with the Zhejiang Institute of Quality Sciences and other domestic and foreign relevant units. Notification and review is an important way for WTO members to put forward opinions on technical trade measures planned to be implemented by other members and safeguard their own trade rights and interests. This time, China takes the lead in developing this standard, focusing on the basic link of professional talent training, transforming China's practical experience into capacity-building resources that other countries can learn from, and helping more countries establish professional review teams.
