[The State Food and Drug Administration and the General Administration of Customs issued an announcement on the import and export declaration of medicinal psychotropic drugs] On September 3, the State Food and Drug Administration, the Ministry of Public Security and the National Health Commission jointly issued an announcement to adjust the catalog of medicinal psychotropic drugs. Oxyetomidate (excluding pharmaceutical preparations containing methoxyetomidate approved for marketing in China), leritomidate (excluding pharmaceutical preparations containing leritomidate approved for marketing in China) and suoamfetomidate are included in the catalog of medicinal psychotropic drugs. In accordance with the provisions of the Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations, the customs commodity numbers of the above varieties are now announced for reference in customs clearance declarations. The relevant product numbers only include some of the controlled products. If the actual imported and exported goods exceed the relevant commodity number range, they must be declared truthfully. This announcement will be effective from October 1, 2026.
