There are no casualties yet] September 3rd, according to the official measurement of the China Seismological Network, a 4.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang at 10:45 on September 3. The focal depth was 25 kilometers, and the epicenter was located at 40.02 degrees north latitude and 83.68 degrees east longitude. We learned from the Xinjiang Fire and Rescue Corps that the nearest town to the epicenter is Gaizikumu Township, Shaya County, about 120 kilometers away, and about 150 kilometers away from Shaya County. The epicenter is located in an uninhabited area in the desert of the Tarim Basin, and no earthquake was felt in Shaya County.
