[Argentina says it will use all means to achieve sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands] September 3rd, Argentine Foreign Minister Pablo Kilno said on September 2nd that Argentina must master all available means to achieve sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands. Argentina and the United Kingdom have a dispute over sovereignty over the Falklands. In April 1982, a war broke out between Afghanistan and Britain over the sovereignty of the Falklands, and the war ended with Britain's victory. Argentina has not given up its claim to sovereignty over the Falklands since its defeat, and the United Kingdom has refused to negotiate on the issue of sovereignty over the Falklands.
