Guo Jiakun said that this morning, China's third batch of emergency aid supplies to Nepal has been shipped, including tents, blankets, mortuary cabinets, medical protective clothing, satellite communication equipment, etc., and the second batch of DNA identification experts are on the same plane to Nepal to assist in the work. China's Tibet Autonomous Region has provided emergency assistance to Nepal for two Bailey bridges, and organizations such as the Red Cross Society of China and the China Rural Development Foundation have donated relief materials to Nepal. Local overseas Chinese, associations, and Chinese-funded enterprises in Nepal have also provided support and donations to Nepal. China will continue to provide emergency assistance according to Nigeria's needs and carry out international rescue cooperation.
Guo Jiakun said that after the disaster, China's meteorological and water conservancy departments worked closely with relevant parties in Nepal to share monitoring information and work together to respond to the disaster. The China Meteorological Administration contacted the Nepal Meteorological Administration as soon as possible to conduct video weather consultations, share relevant information in real time, and urgently developed a customized version of "Mazu" for Nepal's cloud and delivered it to Nepal for trial use to provide meteorological support for Nepal's emergency rescue services. The Ministry of Water Resources of China continues to share hydrological monitoring and early warning forecast information with Nigeria.
Guo Jiakun said that Nigeria is deeply grateful to China for fighting side by side with Nigeria, responding to disasters, and providing important support to Nigeria's disaster relief work, saying that this reflects the great neighborly friendship between China and Nigeria.
