On August 26, a large-scale mudslide occurred in the Resowa region of northern Nepal. The Nepalese government decided on the 26th to classify some local administrative units in the disaster-stricken areas as disaster crisis areas for a period of three months in accordance with relevant laws and regulations in order to centrally allocate rescue resources, strengthen personnel management and control, and promote post-disaster recovery work.
