[French Transport Minister: France is testing Tesla's fully autonomous driving vehicles] September 4th, French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot said on Friday that France has carried out relevant vehicle testing before Europe makes a decision in October on whether to allow Tesla's fully autonomous driving technology to be implemented. Tabarot said: "This technology is expected to bring improvements in many aspects. This is also my original intention to promote the test. It is not a gimmick, but to improve safety levels and reduce the number of accidents in the country." He mentioned vehicle speed and related problems caused by drivers using mobile phones. Tabarot met with Tesla chief Elon Musk earlier this week.
