[Thresholds for private equity individual qualified investors: financial assets of not less than 5 million or average annual income in the past three years of not less than 500,000] On September 4, the China Securities Regulatory Commission is soliciting opinions on the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Private Equity Fund Raising", aiming to further strengthen the supervision of private equity fund raising business activities. The new regulations stipulate that individuals recognized as qualified investors must have more than two years of investment experience in securities, funds, futures, equity, etc., and have household financial assets of not less than 5 million yuan, or household financial net assets of not less than 3 million yuan, or their average annual income in the past three years is not less than 500,000 yuan, and have the ability to identify and bear risks accordingly. For private equity funds whose main assets are invested in real estate project company equity, single targets, overseas assets, over-the-counter derivatives, etc., natural person investors should have more than four years of investment experience, household financial assets of not less than 10 million yuan, and household financial net assets of not less than 6 million yuan.
