[Kioxia plans to promote NAND flash memory to replace some DRAM] "Kexia Daily" reported on the 4th that it is reported that Kioxia is promoting the use of NAND flash memory for some of the work undertaken by server DRAM. The company is letting customers evaluate a CXL memory expansion module, saying that by replacing part of DRAM with this module, it can double the memory capacity and improve performance by 30%. However, the above performance data are company test results and have not been independently verified. Kioxia also plans to start providing customers with SSD samples that can directly connect to NVIDIA GPUs in 2028.
