[Many countries promote the localization of gold reserve layout] September 5th, many countries around the world are accelerating the adjustment of gold reserve storage layout and reducing their dependence on the single custody system of Europe and the United States. Since 2013, many countries have successively initiated the relocation of overseas gold reserves. The World Gold Council's 2026 Central Bank Gold Reserve Survey shows that in the past 12 months, 19% of central banks have increased the proportion of domestic gold reserves or diversified their reserve locations. A year ago, the proportion was only 7%. The number of central banks deposited in New York and London vaults continues to decrease.
