[Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun visited Mexico and attended the ninth meeting of the Science and Technology Subcommittee of the China-Mexico Intergovernmental Standing Committee] September 5th, according to the Ministry of Science and Technology, from September 2 to 4, 2026, at the invitation of Mexico’s Minister of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation Ruiz, Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun led a delegation to visit Mexico and co-chaired the ninth meeting of the Science and Technology Subcommittee of the China-Mexico Intergovernmental Standing Committee in Mexico City. At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the results achieved since the eighth meeting of the Science and Technology Subcommittee, exchanged science and technology development strategies and policies between the two countries, discussed the next priority areas for China-Mexico science and technology innovation cooperation, and reached consensus. After the meeting, the two parties signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation of the United Mexican States" and the minutes of the Science and Technology Subcommittee meeting.
