[Agency: Iraq’s oil exports in August fell 36% compared with before the conflict] On September 6, the maritime shipping tracking agency TankerTrackers released a report on Saturday saying that Iraq’s oil exports in August fell by 36% compared with the level before the outbreak of the US-Iraq conflict. This comparison uses the January-February export data before the outbreak of the conflict as the benchmark. Iran led the decline, with oil exports falling by 100%; Qatar and Saudi Arabia followed closely, with exports from both countries falling by 48%. Kuwait's oil exports also fell by 36% in August, the same as Iraq, and tied for third among countries analyzed by TankerTrackers. The United Arab Emirates suffered the smallest decline, with oil exports falling only 0.02% from pre-war levels.
