[A U.S. cargo plane overshot the runway, crashed and caught fire] September 7th, at around 2 p.m. local time on September 6, a U.S. Amazon cargo plane overran the runway at Miami International Airport, triggering a large-scale emergency response and suspending operations at the airport. The FAA said the Boeing 767-300 cargo plane took off from San Juan, Puerto Rico and overran the runway after landing at Miami International Airport. Video from the scene showed that the large cargo plane had rushed out of the airport area, hit multiple vehicles, and burst into flames. The Miami-Dade County Fire Department dispatched about 60 rescue vehicles to the scene and reported that multiple injured people were found at the scene. Miami International Airport has temporarily closed all runways and taxiways, implemented ground operations, and suspended flights in and out.
