[UBS reportedly requires junior bankers to have AI skills] On September 7, it was reported that UBS required candidates applying for junior investment bankers to prove their ability in artificial intelligence (AI), highlighting that the technology is reshaping the recruitment of graduates at some large European banks. The Swiss banking group is asking graduates and interns interested in joining its global banking and markets divisions in 2027 to demonstrate how they can use AI to "improve work results and efficiency," the report said.
