[Heavy rains in many places in Japan affect more than 400,000 people] September 7th, Japan Broadcasting Association TV reported today (September 7) that many places in Japan, such as the southeastern part of Honshu Island and the Izu Islands, have experienced heavy rains recently. On that day, many railways were suspended and some schools were closed. At least 29 regions including Tokyo, Chiba Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture have issued evacuation instructions to residents, requiring them to leave dangerous areas and take evacuation measures.
