[OpenAI’s latest model is expected to boost CPU demand, Intel and AMD may benefit] September 7th, OpenAI released the GPT-6 Astra model last week, saying it has reached the most advanced level in computer operations, software engineering, network security and scientific research. Although the GPT-6 Astra model is not yet officially available to the public, the industry points out that the model can independently create and run agents, which will significantly consume local CPU computing power, thereby further increasing CPU demand and benefiting CPU manufacturers such as Intel and AMD.
