[Iraq’s Oil Minister Says Crude Oil Exports in September reached 3 million barrels per day] On September 8, Iraqi Oil Minister Basim Mohammed al-Hudair said at an event in Baghdad that the country’s crude oil exports in September reached 3 million barrels per day. He did not say whether the data represented total exports or provide a breakdown of shipments to the north versus the south. Iraq has been increasing crude oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz and steadily pushing up oil exports. However, it has recently encountered some difficulties in finding buyers to undertake crude oil in the Persian Gulf.
