[Russia will respond to Hungary’s expulsion of Russian diplomats] September 8th, according to RIA Novosti’s report today (September 8), Russia will respond to Hungary’s expulsion of Russian diplomats. Earlier, the Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister issued a statement saying that these people "engaged in activities in Hungary that diplomats are not allowed to engage in under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations." The statement added: "This decision is aimed at safeguarding Hungary's security and sovereignty. It does not mean severing diplomatic relations with Russia.
