[The UK will impose new sanctions on Jewish settlements] September 8th, according to British media reports, British Foreign Secretary Miliband is expected to announce today (September 8) adjustments to the UK’s Middle East policy and new sanctions on Jewish settlements in the West Bank, including a ban on the import of goods produced in Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank. In response, Israeli President Herzog issued a video statement today, claiming that this was a "serious misjudgment" by the British government and a "decision on the wrong side of history."
