On the news, CITIC Construction Investment Research reported that global gas turbine orders in 2026Q2 were about 38GW, a record high in a single quarter, and the United States contributed nearly half; in the first half of the year, the capacity of gas-fired power generation projects entering the construction stage in the United States increased by 76% year-on-year to 52GW, of which 16.9GW is planned to directly power data centers.
