[Iran said it struck two U.S. warships and eight oil tankers] September 9th, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on the 9th saying that in response to the U.S. military’s attack on Iranian oil tankers in the Persian Gulf, the Revolutionary Guards struck two U.S. warships and eight oil tankers that day, as well as 10 illegal ships.
