[BP is reported to be considering selling North Sea assets, Adura, NEO Next+ and other interested bidders] September 9th, BP’s North Sea business has attracted potential buyers such as Adura and NEO Next+. Companies such as EnQuest, Harbor Energy, Ithaca Energy, Serica Energy and Var Energi may also participate in the evaluation. Relevant negotiations are still ongoing, and whether a final acquisition offer will be made has yet to be determined. According to reports, BP considered selling its North Sea business in May this year, and the overall sale valuation may be about 2 billion pounds (about 2.7 billion U.S. dollars).
