[Foreign Exchange Administration: China's direct investment has achieved basic convertibility] On September 10, Li Bin, deputy director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, introduced at the "Starting the 15th Five-Year Plan" series of themed press conferences held by the State Council Information Office on September 10 that China's direct investment has achieved basic convertibility. Cross-border securities investment has formed a cross-border investment system arrangement based on the institutional investor system, interconnection mechanisms, and direct entry of foreign investors into the market. Full-scale macro-prudential management of cross-border financing has been implemented.
