[Foreign-funded institutions surveyed A-shares more than 5,500 times during the year, and companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board are the most popular] September 10th, as of September 8, more than 610 foreign-funded institutions have conducted a total of 5,581 surveys on A-shares during the year, covering thousands of listed companies. The frequency and coverage of surveys have significantly expanded compared with previous years. From the perspective of foreign investment research preferences, the focus is on leading companies in semiconductors, electronics, machinery manufacturing, power equipment, medical and other fields. Among the top 20 companies surveyed by foreign investors in Shanghai, 13 are companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. The top five are Montage Technology, Obi-Zhongguang, BeiGene, OPT, and China Resources Micro. United Imaging Healthcare, Espressif Technology, etc. are also at the top. In terms of main boards, Huaqin Technology, Dongpeng Beverage, Guangzhou Automobile Group, Changdian Technology, etc. have attracted attention. Foreign participating institutions include well-known investment banks such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, UBS, and Nomura; multi-strategy/hedge funds such as Point72, Pinpoint, Millennium, and Balyasny; large asset management institutions such as Fidelity, Schroders, BlackRock, Allianz, and Proxy; and sovereign funds such as Temasek and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
