[Last issue: Approval of Sinopec Refining and Sales Co., Ltd.’s new registered petroleum asphalt production enterprise] On September 10, the Shanghai Futures Exchange announced: Recently, our exchange received an application from Sinopec Refining and Sales Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinopec Refining and Marketing) for the addition of a registered petroleum asphalt futures production enterprise, Guangzhou Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Guangzhou Petrochemical Branch). According to relevant regulations such as the Shanghai Futures Exchange Petroleum Asphalt Registered Commodity Management Regulations, it has been decided after research: 1. It is agreed that Sinopec Refining and Marketing’s new Guangzhou Petrochemical Branch will be a registered production enterprise for petroleum asphalt futures of our exchange. 2. From the date of announcement, No. 70 Class A road petroleum asphalt produced by Guangzhou Petrochemical Branch can be used for the performance and delivery of our petroleum asphalt futures contract.
