[Musk's tunneling company Boring completes US$3 billion in financing and valuation rises to US$23 billion] September 10th, Musk's tunnel network company The Boring Company announced on Thursday local time that the company has completed US$3 billion in financing and its valuation has reached US$23 billion. The newly injected funds will be used to accelerate the expansion of the underground transportation network. The company also announced on Thursday that it had reached an agreement to build more than 150 kilometers of tunnels in the UAE. The United Arab Emirates is also the lead investor in this Series D financing. Other participants in this financing include Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and Baron Capital.
