[Sheinbaum: The United States should not use Mexico as a tool for its electoral politics] September 11th: In response to the U.S. criticism of Mexico’s anti-drug trafficking operations, Mexican President Sheinbaum said on the 10th that the United States should not use Mexico as a tool for its electoral politics. Sheinbaum said at a regular press conference at the Presidential Palace that the United States will hold mid-term congressional elections in November and "do not use Mexico in electoral activities." Mexico does not interfere in the U.S. election process, and "they should not interfere in Mexico."
